Kanji Takenaka joined Trinity Gate Investments in 2017. He started in the Singapore office before establishing the office in Tokyo, which he currently heads. He leads the firm’s institutional investor and general partner relationships in Japan. Prior to joining Trinity Gate Investments , Kanji worked at multiple firms including HarbourVest Partners, Fortress Investment Group and The Norinchukin Bank. He is based in Tokyo.

Education: MBA from Harvard Business School and BA from Waseda University
