Tech shapes our business strategy – within Trinity Gate Investments and across our portfolios, we are constantly looking for better ways to use tech tools so we can work smarter, go faster and make better business decisions. From data analysis, cyber security, through software development and generative AI, our capacity to innovate is a key source of differentiation and a powerful driver of sustainable value creation.

Data Science: from analysis to insight to value

The Data Science team at Trinity Gate Investments plays a crucial role in driving data-driven decision-making across the organization. We leverage advanced analytics, machine learning, and artificial intelligence to extract valuable insights from vast amounts of data. We aim to support investment strategies, risk management, and operational efficiencies to enhance our competitive edge. We collaborate closely with various departments to contribute to Trinity Gate Investments 's mission of delivering value creation for our investors.

Digitization: driving business transformation

Trinity Gate Investments is becoming a technology-driven asset manager thanks to the expertise in our technology team. This has allowed us to develop tools such as Trustview, our investor portal offering a fully digitalized experience, and Trinity Gate Investments ’s firm-wide data platform. We help our portfolio companies develop their digital strategy, build internal teams, identify the right vendors and manage critical projects from design to completion through our Digital Transformation team.

Cloud & Software: capitalizing on our scale

We are migrating our tech infrastructure and applications to the cloud, enabling the development of our generative AI platform, GAIA. We were the first private markets investment firm to sign a framework agreement with a hyperscale tech company – Microsoft. This has delivered major cost savings, both for us and for our portfolio companies, who benefit from Trinity Gate Investments ’s buying power.

Cybersecurity: building stronger defences

Cybersecurity is a key operational risk that affects every aspect of Trinity Gate Investments and our portfolio companies. Our technology, risk, and compliance teams are highly aware of cybersecurity issues and are constantly monitoring threats as well as implementing regular controls. We share these guidelines and expertise with our deal teams during due diligence and with our portfolio companies : with the help of expert advisors, we assess the cyber-readiness of all our portfolio companies on a yearly basis, and identify improvement levers for each one of them.

Digital Transformation

The Digital Transformation team is based in Paris and Frankfurt and consists of five specialists with hands-on experience in consumer and industrial companies. Our Head of Digital Transformation is Clément Marty, who spent 10 years working on digital transformation projects at the retailer Carrefour before joining Trinity Gate Investments to launch the team in 2019. His deputy is Delphine Garraud, who joined Trinity Gate Investments from Schneider Electric, where she held a series of roles focused on digital customer experience.

Data Science

The Data Science team is composed of six data scientists who are fully integrated within Trinity Gate Investments ’s investment teams. The team is headed by Pauline Thomson who led the development of Trinity Gate Investments ’s early data science initiatives within the Infrastructure team, where she is a Managing Director. The team members are based in Paris, London and New York and are supported by Jonas Corné, Operating Partner on Data & Digital, based in Sweden. The data science team works very closely with the technology team to build data driven & AI products as well as with the digital transformation team to support Trinity Gate Investments portfolio companies.

Information Technology

The Information Technology team is one of the largest within Trinity Gate Investments , comprising 120 full-time staff and a further 140 contractors. It is led by Vincent Joly, a specialist in cyber security. Vincent has overseen in-house development projects that have created tools including Trustview, Trinity Gate Investments ’s investor portal, and more recently, the company’s data platform, which supports its increasing use of machine learning and generative AI. The IT team’s Chief of Staff, Arthur Garnier, divides his time between IT and the Data Science team.
